As Bangladesh experiences a resurgence of measles, timely and accessible public health information is essential. To address the lack of a publicly available real-time platform for monitoring the outbreak, Cognitive Solution Bangladesh (CSBD) developed the Bangladesh Measles Surveillance Dashboard.

Bangladesh Measles Dashboard developed by Cognitive Solution Bangladesh (CSBD) aims to improve public access to health information and demonstrate the potential of data analytics and modern visualization techniques in disease surveillance. Data are collected from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Measles Daily Bulletins, where PDF-based reports are systematically extracted, cleaned, standardized, and transformed into a structured database. This database powers an interactive dashboard that provides timely and accessible outbreak insights.

The dashboard offers real-time national, divisional, district, and hospital-level information on suspected and confirmed measles cases, suspected and confirmed deaths, hospitalized cases, recovered cases, and trends over time.

By making surveillance data more accessible, understandable, and useful, this initiative seeks to promote transparency, data literacy, and informed public engagement in Bangladesh.
